Are you interested in helping others? Meeting new people? As a
Lion you will use your time and talents to make an impact in
your community. As a Lion you will acquire new skills, meet
challenges, make new friends and learn more about yourself. When was the last time you did something for yourself? Volunteering your time not only helps others, but gives you a sense of pride and accomplishment. The Elverson-Morgantown Lions Club participates in many fund raisers and activities throughout the year and we have fun doing them. Membership is by invitation only. If you are interested in

The Elverson–Morgantown Lions Club supports many causes,
locally, at the state level and worldwide. Last year alone our
club donated over $5000.00 to these organizations and functions,
including:
Elverson–Morgantown Lions Club Recycling Program: Supporters are helping the Elverson-Morgantown Lions Club by collecting empty laser and inkjet printer cartridges as well as used cell phones from the community. Then the waste products are sent out to be exchanged for funding to subsidize the group’s budget. This fundraising method works because the used items can be refurbished or refilled and reused. If you or your company is interested in demonstrating a commitment to the environment and your community, please think about donating your used cartridges, inkjet cartridges and cell phones to the Elverson-Morgantown Lions Clubs. We will then forward them to a recycling facility. In return we receive money for these items and use the funds collected to help members in our community. To learn more you can email the recycling coordinator at: Jomesw@dejazzd.com or take them to National Penn Bank on PA-23 in Elverson. They have a box as soon as you go into the lobby and you can just drop them in there. If you know a Lion with the club, they would be more than happy to take them in for you. |
