All about the Elverson-Morgantown Pennsylvania Lions Club!

You Can Make a Difference

You are invited to join the world’s largest and most effective community service organization in the world. Since 1917, nearly 1.35 million men and women in more than 200 countries have proudly served our communities and beyond.

Lions believe in fostering a spirit of understanding among people around the world; promoting good government and citizenship; and taking an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of our community.

Being a Lion allows you the opportunity to serve and help others with the support of a well respected, highly recognized local Lions Club.

As a member of Lions Club you will be part of a service organization that makes a real difference in the community.

Please Join Us

Meetings are held on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month during the months of September through June at
St. Thomas Episcopal Church 6251 Morgantown Rd (PA-10) Morgantown, PA 19543
[Map/Directions]
Dinner - 6:30pm  Meeting - 7:30pm

Please come and join us for one of our regular meetings and consider joining our organization. We have a great meal and lots of fun!

We believe in uniting our club in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding. Our meetings provide a forum for open discussion of all matters of public interest, provided however, that partisan politics and sectarian religion shall not be debated by club members.

Lions Club encourages service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward and encourages high ethical standards in our private endeavors.

This is a great opportunity to help those less fortunate and improve your community through service.

What We Do

The Elverson–Morgantown Lions Club supports many causes, locally, at the state level and worldwide. Last year alone our club donated over $5000.00 to these organizations and functions, including:

  • Elverson Cub Scout Pack #37
  • Venture Crew #37
  • Village Library
  • Twin Valley Food Pantry
  • Twin Valley School District
    • Leo Club Sponsor at Middle School
    • 3 Academic Scholarships Annually
    • Post Graduation Party
  • Beacon Lodge Scholarship Annually (A Camp for the Visually Impaired)
  • Leader Dog Program
  • Bing Miller Foundation

We also help local residents in need of financial assistance to purchase eyeglasses or visual aids.

Our Club Activities

We participate in many fun and rewarding activities throughout the year. These include:

  • White Cane Collection
  • Collecting Eyeglasses
  • Night at the Races
  • Local Halloween Parades
  • Raffle Calendar Sales
  • Club Visitations

We have participated in the Adopt-a Highway for over ten years. This involves cleaning a two mile section of local roadway twice a year to help keep our community beautiful.
